### Registry rate limits
Version checks list all image tags, so repositories with thousands of build and
architecture tags require many requests even when checking only one service.
The updater spaces requests to each registry backend one second apart by
default. LinuxServer's `lscr.io` gateway shares the `ghcr.io` request budget.
Set `registry_request_interval_ms: 2000` in `config.yaml` to slow requests further
if other tools share the registry quota. The setting applies to tag pages,
authentication and retries; `0` disables pacing. An HTTP 429 pauses requests to
that backend using `Retry-After`, or exponential waits of 5, 10, 20, 40 and 80
seconds when the header is absent or invalid. Cooldowns also apply to subsequent
images if retries are exhausted. Warnings include the image and backend.
